As a freshman in college, Alex looks forward to fun times with her best friend. They formed a bond so strong even death couldn’t keep them apart.
CEO Eric Randall’s plan is simple—fix the mess his researchers have created in Malaysia, experience the pleasures the country has to offer, and hightail it back to the comforts of America. Then again, simple plans always seem to have a way of going awry. All it takes is one beautiful aborigine to completely flip his world upside down, and Eric finds himself stranded in a world of Malaysian myths and legends.
A novice shaman amongst her people, Berani is free and independent; the rainforest is her playground. Yet all is not well in her homeland. Evil forces are slowly causing her people to dwindle to extinction. When a strange speaking man invades her forest, she has one more item to add to her already troubled life. One thing for sure, she’s not about to let some overbearing human control her on her own turf. Attraction or no, she will fight Eric tooth and claw to maintain her freedom. But will she end up destroying herself in the process?
If Berani wishes to save her family… if Eric wishes to reclaim his old life, they must stand together against the threats of encroaching wehr-tigers and bloodsucking demons… or perish.
Currently, I’m in the process of writing the first draft of Chasing Shadows (aka Stray Cat). Even before I finished the first draft of Shadow Cat, I realized there was more to the story. For one, I absolutely loved Bryan. I always knew Bryan’s story would be last. It’s that save the best for last mentality going on. He was just someone I fell in love with. The guy had a lot of baggage, yet was a real trooper. Good natured for the most part, but not one to push around. Then Mujur hopped on the scene. Who was this guy? One thing for sure, I didn’t trust him, and that intrigued me.
It didn’t take long for me to find out why Mujur was so shady. His story started forming in my mind while editing Shadow Cat. Then his heroine (Kecil) revealed herself. Certainly not my strongest heroine, but a survivor in her own right. I love her story; I love her perseverance. Anyway, I’ll be posting the first chapter, since I’m convinced it’s a keeper no matter what. 🙂 It’s still rather raw, so you’ll get an opportunity to see my crap before it goes through extensive editing.
Still working on a cover idea, by the way.
Brandon is an overworked husband with a wife who wants a little too much. Sex, that is. When his wife starts throwing him hints about bondage and masochism, he’s sure she’s flipped. In the end, Brandon must decide which lines he’s willing to cross for the women he loves.
Erotic Short Story: 3260 words
I found a contest a while back and one of the prompts was “Knowledge of the circulatory system can save time.” I had intended to enter, but I forgot. I don’t even know if it’s still going on. Well, I wrote a piece for it. For your reading pleasure:

According to Wikipedia, a drabble is an extremely short work of fiction exactly one hundred words in length. So once in a while, Janet Reid will do these contests. For this particular one she gave contestants this challenge: In 100 words or less tell me a story. Include the following words: honeywagon, flaws, stake, pivotal, fairbank.
So I gave it a try. And here’s the drabble I came up with.
I honestly have no idea where I came up with One Wish. All I can say is this was one of my earlier attempts at flash fiction.
